GC Novels announced on their official X (formerly Twitter) account that That Time I Was Reincarnated as a Slime (TenSura) light novels will be ending at volume 23. Along with the announcement they revealed the last volume cover illustrations, and that the last volume will be published and shipped in Japan on November 29th.
It was also announced a spin-off story called, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: How to Spend a Certain Vacation will be publish on the same day the main story ends.
TenSura by Fuse, was a web novel on the Let’s Become Novelists in which gained over 400 million page views around 2013 to 2016, before getting a physical publications.
The franchise’s TV anime debuted in October 2018, in which was adapted based off of Taiki Kawakami’s manga adaptation. The second season ran for two cours through 2021, alongside the Slime Diaries spin-off. The first film Scarlet Bond, which opened in Japan in November 2022. The third season came out in April 2024 and ran for half a year, with a fourth season already confirmed. The second movie, Tears of the Blue Seas Arc, will hit theaters in Japan on February 27th, 2026.
