The Gamescom Opening Night Live on Tuesday, announced that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is getting its very own anime adaptation titled Sekiro: No Defeat. The series is set to premiere in 2026, with Crunchyroll streaming it worldwide with the exception to Japan, China, Korea, Russia, and Belarus. The English-subtitled trailer for the anime was reveal during the event, giving fans a first look at the adaptation.

The anime is being directed by Kenishi Kutsuna at Qzil.la, with Takuya Satou handling the script. Takahiro Kishida (Welcome to the Ballroom!!) is in charge of character design, and the music is being composed by Shuta Hasunuma.

The main cast will consists of

  • Daisuke Namikawa (Rock from Black Lagoon) as Wolf
  • Miyuki Satou as Kuro, the Divine Heir
  • Kenjiro Tsuda (Kento Nanami from Jujutsu Kaisen) as Genichiro Ashina
