For the first time ever, Weekly Shonen Jump and Pokémon are doing a special team-up. The crossover will appear in issue #36/37 of Shonen Jump magazine, which comes out on August 4th 2025.

As part of the collaboration, One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda, drew a special illustration of Luffy and Pikachu together, The cover of the issue will feature a big, full-color illustration showing Pokémon alongside charact4ers from different Jump series, all drawn by original artists of their respective manga.

So far, they have revealed a few sneak peaks of:

Shuhei Miyazaki author of Me & Roboco, drew Roboco with Mega Blaziken

Koji Miura author of Blue Box, drew Chinatsu Kano with Totodile

More crossover art from other Jump creators are also expected to be shown. The celebration will continue in the next issue, #38, coming out on August 18, 2025, which will include special sticker featuring the same group artwork from the previous issue. There will also be special giveaways and prizes using the new crossover art.
