Nintendo announces they are planning on opening a PokéPark KANTO, the world’s first permanent outdoor Pokémon theme park, which will be located in the scenic corner of Yomuriland, in the Tokyo Tama Hills. This themed park will span over 26,000 square meters of fun, fantasy, and with familiar faces for Pokémon fans!

The PokéPark is not just a theme park but a full-on Pokémon trainers adventure zone. With over 600 Pokémon from across all generations waiting to be discovered, visitors will get to explore two main areas, Pokémon Forest and Sedge Town.

In the Pokémon Forest, you can journey across nearly 500 meters of wilderness, hilly trails, tall grass, rocky paths, and even tunnels. Expect toe encounter some Pokémon hiding in bushes, scurrying underground, or up above you.

On the other side of this theme park is Sedge Town, a lively hub where Pokemon and people come together. There you will be able to find, and see all the essential things a Trainer would see and need on their journey.
